Massive Exposé of Fraudulent Call Centers: Hundreds of Thousands of Victims, Millions in Stolen Euros
Authorities Launch Investigations and Offer Support to Financial Fraud Victims
In recent years, international law enforcement agencies, including Europol, Eurojust, the FSB, and various national prosecutors, have been actively combating financial fraud schemes. As a result of coordinated efforts, over 30 major call centers operating in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lebanon, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and other countries have been shut down. These organizations specialized in deceiving individuals by posing as brokerage firms, investment platforms, and financial analysts.

Scale of the Damage:
  • More than 500,000 people have fallen victim to fraud in Europe, the UK, Canada, and the CIS region.
  • The total damage exceeds 500 million euros.
  • Over 80 individuals have been arrested, including the main organizers of the fraudulent schemes.

How Did the Fraudsters Operate?
Fraudulent call centers lured victims with promises of lucrative investments and guaranteed returns. Potential clients were persuaded to invest money under the pretext of stock trading, cryptocurrency investments, or participation in high-yield programs.
After victims transferred money to the provided accounts, they were shown fake profit growth. As soon as a victim attempted to withdraw their funds or deposited a large amount, access to their account was blocked, and contact with the "brokers" was cut off.

Key Fraud Schemes:
  1. Fake Investment Platforms – Promising high returns through "trading bots" or professional analysts.
  2. Fake Brokers – Creating fake trading accounts where clients "earn" only on the screen.
  3. Cryptocurrency Scams – Collecting deposits for "investing" in promising assets that don't actually exist.
  4. Fake Banks – Setting up pseudo-banking structures offering funds storage and high returns.

Authorities Are Taking Action!
Governments around the world have ordered increased efforts to combat financial fraud and provide qualified legal assistance to all victims. Financial crime specialists are ready to help with:
  • Analyzing fraudulent schemes and identifying the perpetrators.
  • Gathering evidence for filing claims.
  • Legal support during court proceedings.
  • Recovery of lost funds.

Attention! Victims Are Being Sought!
As part of the international investigation, a registry of victims has been created to facilitate the return of stolen funds. If you have been a victim of fraud, it is strongly advised to submit an application for a situation review and to receive assistance.
